Oktoberfest Queen & Princesses

One of the most cherished traditions of the DSP Oktoberfest Pretoria is the annual crowning of the Oktoberfest Queen and her Princesses.

Each year, learners from the Deutsche Internationale Schule Pretoria participate in this exciting competition, representing the spirit, tradition and community values of the festival. Throughout the year, candidates support fundraising initiatives and help promote the Oktoberfest within the school and wider Pretoria community.

The crowning of the Oktoberfest Queen and Princesses is a highlight of the festival weekend and celebrates dedication, enthusiasm and community involvement. As ambassadors of the DSP Oktoberfest, they play an important role in preserving the traditions of one of South Africa's largest and longest-running German festivals.
